At Always Reaching Children's Hearts NFP, we offer a variety of programs designed to meet the unique needs of young people in our community. From academic support and career readiness to arts, culture, sports, and recreation, our programs equip young people with the skills, knowledge, and experiences they need to succeed in life.

Always Reaching Children's Hearts NFP is a youth organization dedicated to creating a world where every young person has the opportunity to reach their full potential. We believe that by providing young people with the right support, resources, and opportunities, they can achieve great things and make a positive impact on the world.

Always Reaching Children’s Hearts (ARCH) Foundation is a non-violence organization offering mentoring, educational tutoring, and fine arts programs to children in some of Chicago’s most underserved communities. Established on January 5, 2010, in honor of our slain family member, Artelle L. Gholar, who was senselessly murdered in Altgeld Murray Gardens on November 13, 2006, the foundation aims to turn a tragic situation into something positive and triumphant.
Unfortunately, the story of a family member lost too soon is all too familiar to many families who have suffered the loss of a loved one due to the rampant violence that plagues Chicago’s underdeveloped and economically starved South and West sides. In recent years, violence in our communities has grown at an alarming rate. Children as young as six have become the latest victims, painting a bleak and heartless future for our youth.

Born on April 28, 1982, in Chicago’s Altgeld Gardens community, Natasha Belt discovered her passion for service and the arts at an early age. From singing in the choir to mastering martial arts, she embraced every opportunity at Grissom Elementary and Corliss High School. A proud graduate of Jackson State University (Class of 2005), Natasha’s trumpet once echoed proudly in the world-renowned Sonic Boom of the South marching band.
With over 22 years of experience as an Early Childhood Professional, Natasha began her career in 2005 as a classroom teacher, dedicating ten years to teaching and nurturing young learners. Her leadership journey grew from the classroom to roles as Center Director, Education Coordinator, Education Manager, and Education Director, supporting numerous state and federal early learning programs.
In 2010, Natasha founded Always Reaching Children’s Hearts (ARCH) in honor of her late brother—a community initiative rooted in compassion, education, and empowerment. She went on to earn a Master’s degree in Educational Leadership in 2013, further strengthening her ability to guide educators and families alike.
Her commitment to holistic development led her to become a certified ABA therapist in 2016 and achieve her black belt in martial arts in 2017. Recognized for her excellence, Natasha received the 100 Black Women of Chicago Award in 2019.
Today, Natasha serves with the City of Chicago’s Children’s Division, where she provides training and technical assistance to teachers across the city, enhancing quality and best practices in early education. Her most recent milestone—earning her third-degree black belt in 2023—reflects her lifelong dedication to growth, discipline, and empowerment.
Through every chapter, Natasha continues to uplift others, blending her passion for education, leadership, and community service to inspire lasting change.
